Let’s share how thankful we are for our talents and those who support us. Whether you are a beginner or more advanced musician, this is a great way to complete that piece you are working on and see what your fellow musicians are up to at this monthly Performance Party. All musicians welcome!

November 27, Tuesday, 4:30PM-5:15PM – The Circle of Fifths (Led by Dave Wheeler)

Do you have trouble remembering how many sharps are in the D# minor scale? Join Dave Wheeler for a workshop where you will learn a few simple tricks that will allow you to draw the circle of fifths correctly every time. Impress your teachers with your savvy music theory knowledge, and never forget how many flats a Cflat scale has again! This workshop is recommended for intermediate and advanced students, especially those who must memorize scales for Area and Region band auditions!

November 29, Thursday, 6:45PM-7:30PM – Get to Know the Saxophone (Led by Frank Elmo)
Come for this fascinating demo/lecture on the history of the saxophone in popular music from the 40’s to the present using video and recordings as well as demonstrating different styles and techniques on the various saxophones. Open to all players and enthusiasts!
